How Long Does One Bottle of Enovid (NOWONDER™) Last?

Each bottle holds 25 ml (0.9 fl oz) — approximately 200 sprays. A full application is four sprays, two per nostril, so that is roughly 50 applications per bottle. Used twice a day, one bottle lasts about a month for one person. Discard 6 months after opening or by the printed date, whichever comes first.

The arithmetic

Priming a new sprayer uses some of those 200, but it is already accounted for in the rated figure — not an extra deduction on top.

But usage varies enormously

The table is arithmetic, not a prediction. In practice the spread between customers is huge, because this is an as-needed product and people's needs differ.

Some use it once a day, before bed. Some twice — leaving home and coming back. Some use it more after somewhere crowded. Some use it a handful of times a month and a bottle lasts the better part of a year.

Travel compresses everything. A flying day might mean an application heading to the airport, one on the plane, one coming out the other end, and one more in the evening — with an extra mid-flight on a long haul. That is most of a normal week's usage in a day. We would recommend using it before and after travel as good practice.

Two clocks, and the earlier one wins

Bottle life and shelf life are different things.

Bottle life is how long 200 sprays lasts you. Shelf life is fixed: discard 6 months after first opening, or on the “Best Used By” date printed on the sprayer, whichever comes first. If you are a light user, the six-month mark will usually be what limits you, not running out.

Worth factoring into pack size. Buying more than you will get through in six months of opened use does not help — though unopened sprayers keep to their printed date, so the six-month clock only starts when you open each one.

Ordering to your actual rate

The common mistake is ordering for the usage you plan on rather than the rate you settle into. Run the arithmetic honestly for a month, then order to that. Per-bottle price drops as pack size goes up — all seven sizes are on the shop page.
