Common Questions
How Many Sprays Per Day Is Normal With Enovid (NOWONDER™)?
By Udi Damari on Aug 13, 2026 0 CommentThe directions say two sprays into each nostril — four sprays per application — three to four times daily, or up to six times daily as needed. Because it is an as-needed cleanser, fewer applications is equally normal. Hold the sprayer vertically and follow the user guide in your carton.
Two numbers, not one
“How many sprays a day” is really two questions, and mixing them up causes most of the confusion.
Sprays per application: four — two into each nostril.
Applications per day: three to four, or up to six as needed.
A typical day at three applications is twelve sprays. At the upper end, six applications is twenty-four. There is no obligation to reach any of those numbers.
How one application works
From the user guide:
- Blow your nose gently first.
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
- Insert the sprayer tip just inside one nostril, and press the other side of your nose closed with a finger.
- Aim slightly away from the centre of your nose and pump once.
- Repeat in the other nostril, then repeat again in each — four sprays in total.
- Sniff gently through the nose while applying, but do not inhale deeply. Exhale through your mouth.
- Wipe the sprayer with a clean tissue afterwards to maintain hygiene.
Hold the sprayer vertically throughout. Once applied it becomes effective immediately — there is no waiting period after an application. Fuller walkthrough on the how to use page.
As needed means what it says
The three-to-four figure describes a typical daily pattern, not a target. This is a cleanser you use when there is a reason — after exposure to harmful elements such as bacteria, viruses, pollen and pollution, or when you want to refresh and cleanse your nasal passages. Using it twice on one day and not at all the next is normal use, not under-use.
Travel is the obvious case where the count climbs: a flying day can reasonably involve several applications where an ordinary day involves one or two.
Is more better?
Six a day is the stated ceiling and it is there for a reason. Adding extra sprays to a single application is not the way to get more out of it either.
If an application felt weak or under-delivered, the likelier explanation is priming rather than quantity. Check the priming page before concluding you need more.
The user guide is the authority
Every figure here comes from the user guide in your carton, which is the authority whenever it disagrees with anything you read elsewhere — including this page. Keep it while you are using the sprayer.
