Many of you already know povidone-iodine. Firebrick Pharma, founded in Melbourne in 2012 and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: FRE), spent more than 10 years in the lab on the formula: the 0.5% concentration, glycerol, menthol, and a stabilizing system that keeps it consistent for up to 3 years. Why 0.5%, not more?
More iodine isn't better in the nose. Firebrick chose 0.5% after extensive nasal tolerability testing, then measured iodine absorption in a controlled study at the maximum dose: 4 sprays per nostril, 4 times a day, for 5 days.

Is Nasodine the same as Enovid?
They're different products with different formulas: Nasodine is iodine-based, and Enovid is based on nitric oxide. Nasodine is a nasal cleanser developed specifically for regular use in the nose: after flights, while traveling, after crowds and events, or at the office. It's ready to use out of the box, and an opened bottle stays good until the expiry date on the box. You can try it with our 30-day money-back guarantee.
How do I use Nasodine?
Blow your nose first. Holding your head upright, put the spray tip into one nostril and hold the other one closed. Press the pump while breathing in, so the spray reaches throughout the nasal passages. Use up to 4 sprays in each nostril, up to 4 times a day, as needed. Put the protective cap back on after use.
When should I use Nasodine?
Nasodine is a nasal cleanser designed to promote and maintain nasal hygiene in the face of airborne allergens, germs and other contaminants. Use it whenever your nose feels like it needs a clean, or after being in crowds: public gatherings, social events, or while traveling.
How long does a bottle last?
Each bottle delivers up to 200 sprays. How long it lasts depends on how often you use it and how many sprays you use: 1–4 sprays in each nostril, as needed, up to 4 times a day. At 3 sprays per nostril, that's about 30 full uses.
How long can I keep a bottle after opening?
When stored as directed, until the expiry date printed on the box.
Can I use it every day?
Yes, as directed: up to 4 sprays in each nostril, up to 4 times a day, as needed. The formula was developed specifically for regular use in the nose. Read the cautions below, and stop if irritation persists.
Will it make me drowsy? Does it have side effects?
Nasodine won't make you drowsy or affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. You'll feel a cool touch of menthol. Some people notice mild nasal irritation right after use, which usually passes quickly. If irritation is severe or doesn't go away, stop using it and see a doctor.
Do I need to keep it in the fridge? What if it freezes or gets hot?
No fridge needed. Store it at room temperature, below 86°F (30°C). If it freezes by accident, for example during a winter delivery, its performance and shelf life should not be affected: just let it thaw completely before use. Short exposure to heat (for example 100–115°F) also shouldn't affect it. Let it cool to room temperature before use.
Can children use Nasodine?
Nasodine is for adults and teens aged 12 and older. It isn't currently recommended for children under 12.
What if I'm allergic to iodine?
Allergic reactions to povidone-iodine are rare, but they have been reported. If you notice any signs of allergy after using Nasodine, such as swelling, difficulty breathing or a rash, stop using it right away, see a healthcare professional, and email us at info@buyenov.com so we can report it to Firebrick Pharma.
Can I use Nasodine during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Ingredients
Water (94%), glycerol (5%), povidone-iodine 0.5%, and less than 1% each of alcohol, menthol, potassium iodide, potassium iodate, sodium phosphate and sodium hydroxide.
