What is nasal hygiene?

Nasal hygiene is the daily practice of cleansing the inside of the nose to clear the dust, pollen, pollution and other airborne particles that collect there. Like brushing your teeth, it is a maintenance habit rather than a fix for a specific problem, and it works best when it is done regularly.

Why does the nose need cleaning?

Your nose is your body's air filter. A one-minute daily nasal hygiene routine

1. Shake and prime. Shake the bottle, then prime the nozzle with a spray into the air if it has been a while.
2. Spray. Two sprays into each nostril, aimed slightly outward toward the side of the nose.
3. Breathe normally. No rinsing, no waiting, no sink. That is the whole routine.
